GTVO LGBTQ+ Happy Hour
February 21 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The purpose of the LGBTQ+ Happy Hour
Bring Columbus LGBTQAI+ residents, old and new, together to share stories, discuss the past and future. We will also use this as an opportunity to register voters and discuss upcoming opportunities for civic engagement. We will be raising money for a seed fund for several collaborative projects that include Get The Vote Out (GTVO), Equality Ohio, Stonewall Columbus, Kaleidoscope Youth Center (KYC), and LGBTQ+ Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program (LEAP). The programs include voter registration, civic engagement, and creating a business model to mentor and employ youth at KYC to operate a commerce site for GTVO. The goal of the commerce site is to train and equip the youth to start their own businesses. 100% of the money raised from the ecommerce project will be used to support the GOTV project, KYC, LEAP, Equality Ohio and Stonewall Columbus.
will be hosted at Stonewall Columbus showcasing the facility on February 21, 4-8 PM. Music from various decades will be playing LGBTQ dance floor favorites. There may be a drag queen/king or two, on those who come will see the night unveil the magic that happens.
